Precision shooting allows for more powerful and accurate shots, especially on near-post finishes. However, if you're a beginner or want more forgiving gameplay, Assisted shooting might be a better option. It’s easier for shots from the wings or across the goal. Try both and see what works best for you!

Through Pass Assistance: Set to Semi. This means your through passes rely more on your aim rather than the game assisting you too much. It’s a great balance between precision and control.

Lob Through Pass: Also set to Semi for the same reasons—less assistance, more player control.

Crossing Assistance: This one is set to Semi. With this setting, the game won't decide where the ball goes based on power; it’ll leave it up to your aim. It’s especially important when you’re crossing to the back post or in tight spaces.

Pass Receiver Lock: Set to Late. This means the game locks the receiver late, giving you the chance to change your pass direction just before the ball is kicked.

Pass Sensitivity: I keep it on Normal, as it’s the most balanced. If you prefer a higher sensitivity for more precision, you can adjust it, but Normal works fine for me.

Defending Auto Clearances: Always set this to Off. You don’t want the game to automatically clear the ball for you. Instead, you should manually make the decision.

Clearance Assistance: I use Directional for precise clearances. If you want more control over the direction of the clearance, this is the best choice.

Advanced Defending: This is a big one. Switch to Advanced

Defending. After using Tactical Defending in previous versions, I’ve found that Advanced Defending offers more control and lets you decide exactly how you want to tackle or barge off the ball. It’s better for aggressive play and reading the opponent.

Professional Fouls: Set to On. This allows you to commit tactical fouls when needed. It’s especially useful when the opponent is counter-attacking, and you need to slow them down.

Pass Block Assistance: Always On. This allows both AI and user-controlled players to attempt interceptions automatically when the ball is nearby, making your defense stronger.

Switching and Player Movement

Switching players and moving them efficiently is key to controlling the flow of the game:

Auto Switching: I keep this on Air Balls and Loose Balls. This way, if the ball is deflected or played over the top, the game will automatically switch you to the nearest player in the air or on the loose ball. This saves you from manually switching in hectic situations.

Auto-Switch Move Assistance: Set this to None. This eliminates any delay in movement after an auto-switch, giving you instant control over your players.

Right Stick Switching: Set to Classic. This is the most reliable method for player switching, and you want to stick with it for accuracy and quickness. I also use Player Relative switching, which helps with more accurate control, especially in fast-paced situations.

Player Switching Sensitivity: Set to 4, which is the default. This gives you the perfect balance of responsiveness without overshooting your intended player.

Goalkeeper and Miscellaneous Settings

Goalkeeper Save Assistance: Set to Semi for more realism, but this is mostly personal preference.

Camera Settings: The default Co-op camera works best for me. It’s a bit further out, giving you a better overall view of the pitch, helping you spot runs and make more informed decisions. Avoid the Competitive Camera—it’s simply too zoomed in and restrictive.

Power Shot Zoom: This setting zooms in when a power shot is being charged. I find this helpful as it gives me more time to react and adjust my keeper’s positioning.

Visual and Audio Settings:

Camera Movement: Keep Zoom and Height on default.

Radar: Set to 2D to make it easier to spot the positions of players across the pitch.

Audio: I keep Music at 0 and Commentary at 0 to avoid distractions during gameplay, but I leave Ambient Sounds at 10 so you can hear the crowd and feel the atmosphere.
